We regularly attend ongoing professional development courses.
Trained with Pamela De Waal at Paignton where she studied Ballet, Modern, Tap, National, Greek, Highland and Scottish taking exams in all these subjects. Performed in Shows and dancing festivals at Filey, North Yorkshire and All England at London. Then moved to Olga Cooper at Exeter the worldwide R.A.D. Vocational Examiner continuing with more technical work.
Rosemary went on to train at Stella Mann, London gaining the Teacher’s Diploma. where she was taught by two R.A.D Vocational examiners (one was the Head of the Examiners) who taught at the Royal Academy H.Q. and the Royal Ballet School. Rosemary also taught at schools in the London area. Upon returning Rosemary taught for Miss Cooper taking the Ballet Modern and Tap classes from Pre-Primary to Advanced 2 inc. plus at several outside schools including Stoodley Knowle Torquay. Upon Miss Cooper’s retirement Rosemary started her own school in Paignton. Then moving premises and teaching for Gaynor Walter the ISTD examiner at Newton Abbot (now Deborah Bond Academy), Torbay Leisure Centre, Stoodley Knowle School from Grade 2 to Advanced 1 inc. Choreographed for local Operatic Societies.
The opportunity arose to purchase the Bovey Tracey & Chagford & Buckland Monachorum branches and so the long road started.

Rosemary is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance Committee for the South West, Wales, and Channel Islands Region. She is also studying the Royal Ballet School Inspire Teacher’s 6 seminars.
Rebecca teaches RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap and Modern. Rebecca started dancing at the age of 4 with Rosemary and gained her Advanced 1 Ballet qualification as well as her Intermediate Tap and Modern before going to university in 2009. She studied at Middlesex University where she gained a BA Hons Degree in Dance Performance and full membership of the RAD. Rebecca performed with several contemporary groups in London and Devon before starting her teaching career in 2012. In 2020 Rebecca furthered her degree and studied to gain her Diploma in Dance Education with the ISTD. Upon Rosemary’s retirement Rebecca took over the dance school in 2021and is since the principal of the school.
