An adjudicator judges the candidate’s performance and they usually receive a certificate of performance. We try to make the routines last two years but this is not always possible. Any new routines we try to teach during the term or during the holidays. Students normally, if possible, attend two dance festivals.
The routines are only from 1 ½ minutes to 3 minutes long, so only take up about two hour’s of time.
You usually need 4 ½ hours shared or solo to learn a routine.
I have a lot of costumes in the attic which may be suitable to wear.
